Island Timberlands served notice yesterday that they intend to contract out Cowichan Operations
effective Sept 1st 2006 or they have started the process of contracting us out by serving the notice, In the coming weeks
we will be going back to a 5 & 2 shift and following our master agreement, with JOB LOSS.
CREW MEETING ON APRIL 18TH AT THE UNION HALL,TIME 10:00am,
ALL CREW SHOULD ATTEND TO GET THE FACTS.
